Lutein and zeaxanthin are naturally occurring in the retina of the human eye, making them popular ingredients in dietary supplements. Lutein is a well-known carotenoid, a fat-soluble pigment naturally found in plants. These high-quality capsules contain a natural source of lutein from the plant Tagetes erecta (marigold), enhanced with the synergistic effects of zeaxanthin.
